The Glass Gallery

The Glass Gallery includes a delightful collection of hand-blown artifacts known as “whimseys”. These beautiful pieces are priceless today even though many are not more than 45 years old. Whimseys were made by glassblowers during their spare time with leftover glass. This glass could be used as they pleased. Paperweights, birds, animals, chains, walking sticks, rolling pins, hatchets and hats were among the items made. Each piece is totally unique in its composition and design.
