Industry Room
Wallaceburg owes much of its existence to the navigable waterways that have allowed industry to flourish here since the mid 1800s. Here at the Wallaceburg & District Museum we believe that the artifacts housed in our Industrial Room reflect what industry has done for Wallaceburg and what their products have done for the world.
The word Wallaceburg has been associated with all manner of products throughout the years... whether it was glass, sugar, brass or pressure cookers. Many industries settled in Wallaceburg over the years, and the Industrial Room highlights some of the most important industries to the town including faucets and brass produced by Waltec Faucets and Wallaceburg Brass Products in addition to artifacts collected from other companies such as Schultz Die Casting, the Canada and Dominion Crystal Sugar Co. and Wallaceburg Cooperage company.
